Novapave Sdn Bhd was founded in December 2011 to provide road owners with pavements that remain in service for longer. From the outset the company has worked closely with the pavement research team at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), led by Prof. Ir. Dr. Ratnasamy Muniandy, whose fibre mastic asphalt mix design is the product of more than 30 years of research and development.
Today Novapave serves road authorities, highway concessionaires, premix producers and contractors. Clients receive a material that can be specified against JKR requirements, a fibre that premix plants can produce with consistently, and engineering support that continues after the road is opened to traffic.
The company operates its own manufacturing and road materials laboratory, which allows it to control product quality and respond directly to clients' technical requirements.
